This qualification addresses work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation guidelines and service plans.
Workers within this industry will carry out activities to maintain personal care/and or other activities of living, for people in an aged care setting.
Other activities related to an individualised plan, and report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.
Work Placement Requirements
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
