Who we are

We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) approved to deliver Smart and Skilled funded training in NSW. We collect and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

The information we collect

To service website enquiries, we collect the minimum information required: email address and/or phone number, and a contact name.

To service enrolments, we collect only what we need to deliver training and meet legal/funding requirements, including:

  • Identity and contact details (name, DOB, address, phone, email)
  • Eligibility and concession evidence (e.g., residency, visa, concession cards)
  • Training activity data (enrolments, units, results, completions)
  • USI (Unique Student Identifier)
  • Feedback/outcomes surveys (where applicable)

This supports national VET reporting (AVETMISS/Total VET Activity to NCVER) and Smart and Skilled program administration.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to:

  • Enrol you and deliver training/assessment
  • Verify Smart and Skilled eligibility, set fees, and manage payments
  • Report required activity data to NCVER and NSW Training Services
  • Issue statements of attainment/qualifications and update your USI transcript
  • Meet audit, compliance, and quality assurance obligations

Disclosure

We may share necessary information with:

  • Government agencies (e.g., NSW Department of Education/Training Services NSW), NCVER, USI Registrar
  • Regulators (e.g., ASQA), and other bodies as required by law
  • Approved third parties involved in delivering or supporting your training under Smart and Skilled arrangements

We only disclose what is needed and required by law/contract.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Access and request correction of your personal information
  • Opt out of certain surveys (unless required by funding/legislation)
  • Complain if you believe your privacy has been mishandled

Security and retention

We protect personal information with appropriate technical and organisational measures and retain it only as long as needed for legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
