This qualification reflects the role of educators who are responsible for the day-to-day running of a regulated school age education environment or care service in Australia. They plan, implement and manage programs across all areas of service operations. They use specialised knowledge and analyse and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations. Educators have responsibility for the supervision of volunteers and/or other staff.
To achieve this qualification the candidate must complete a total of at least 280 hours of work with school age children in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia.

Unit HLTAID012: Additional materials fee
If you hold a current First Aid Certificate please speak with your assessor.
If you do not then the outlay for this unit will be an additional $200.
Traineeship
Funding may be available for New Entrant trainees. Fee will be calculated upon eligibility by the State and Commonwealth Government.
