This qualification covers entry-level competencies for a career in the public sector, with a particular focus on meeting the ethical and legislative requirements of public service while undertaking a diverse range of work activities.
Participants may enrol in the Administration and Generalist strands. This format allows participants to meet their own training needs and yet create a specialist, or generalist qualification.
The core units contain the generic knowledge, skills and understanding that all administrative and support workers require.
This course is suitable for persons working within the school environment as education support officers, or in the areas of administration or general assistants.
